Lipman Karas La Femme Fun Run is Adelaide's only all female fun run!
Lipman Karas La Femme Fun Run is an event designed to help build a Strong Female Community that inspires women from all ages and backgrounds to celebrate women’s health and fitness in a supportive environment.

COST: $25 Adults, $15.00 Children (14 & Under - must be accompanied by an Adult)

Charity Partner - Dress for Success Adelaide
Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. From its inception in 1997 there are now 150 Dress for Success affiliates in 30 countries which have served over 1 million disadvantaged women with career support and professional attire.
The mission for Dress for Success worldwide is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work & in life.
Poverty often affects women the most and its effects on them & their families can be long-lasting. Therefore addressing women’s needs is pivotal to improving the quality of life not only for that woman but also her family, future generations & her community.
Dress for Success Adelaide offers women in need in our community a continuum of service beginning with interview preparation including clothing if required and practicing interview technique. On gaining employment clients are offered employment suiting and guidance on what it takes to be a valued employee. We will also continue to encourage women who have gained employment to join our employment retention program, the Professional Women’s Group (PWG). The PWG provides our clients with ongoing support through: mentoring by business and community leaders, leadership development training, career development activities, and networking opportunities.
The women accessing our service come from a wide range of ages starting at 17 years through to the over 50’s. We have served young women seeking employment often for the first time, return to work mothers and the long-term unemployed with little or no employment history. We also have been able to assist women with a range of disabilities from severe anxiety to workplace injury. All our clients have in some way lost their confidence and self-esteem and require assistance with interview skills, resume and cover letter preparation, and very often clothing and accessories. We support all these women, one woman at a time.
